Type:Oral History
Description:Mimi Ayars has her Ph. D in sociology, and began quilting in 1954 after making a trip to a fabric store. She taught herself how to quilt, and enjoys piecing because she likes challenging herself. For the most part she likes to hang her quilts in her house to add a bit of color, especially the ones with fall colors because she misses northeastern autumns. [show more]
